  The people are the reason I feel so welcomed here. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a friendly smile and now months later I am still greeted with a friendly smile. The people here genuinely care about their congregation and what's going on in each others lives. Pastor Henry also is such a great caring guy! You can see the love he has for God and an overwhelming joy that's contagious. The teaching from the bible is presented in such a way that it is never boring and Pastor Henry is able to present it in a way that you can see the relevance of an old testament teaching in today's world. The other thing that I love is that the kids are learning the same thing you are in sunday school just its presented at their level of understanding. This is great so you can discuss what you learned as a family. Also, can't say enough about the teachers who work with the kids they are so passionate about helping the kids learn and you can really see their love for God shine through. It is such an awesome thing to see! Overall, I'd say if you are looking for a church with caring people with a passion and a love for God who can teach God's word in a relevant way this would be the church for you.

  Five Oaks is a great church in Woodbury Minnesota. It has a very casual, "come as you are" atmosphere, with welcoming people, modern music, and easy to understand messages. With top notch musicians, a great preacher, and members who are easy to get to know. Not a long drive from Cottage Grove, St. Paul Park, and Afton.

  My Fiancée and I have been attending this church for a little over a year now. It is a truly great community of believers, who are passionate about what Christ's word tells us and how we go about applying that to our individual lives. We got connected with a small group almost right away, and immediately felt like we were part of the family. Going to this church has really helped to move me from being a consumer of the church to a contributor and someone who participates. Pastor Henry does a great job and I would highly recommend this church to anyone seeking to connect with others who will help them along in their faith journey.

  We have been attending this church for three years and just love it! If you are looking for a church that is VERY welcoming as a new person this is it. It can be intimidating walking in the doors not knowing anyone..but i promise you will be greeted and given a tour if that is what you want. Pastor henry is so REAL...his messages are so applicable to everyone...this is not a "stand up, sit down, stand up sit down" church as my friend calls her past catholic church. The Childrens ministry is wonderful too. The kids learn, sing, do projects, read bible stories..my daughter sings christian songs from school. I would really encourage you to walk through these doors and let your heart be changed and the wounds of the past forgiven. We look forward to shaking your hand and assisting you in any way we can!
